Rising Costs are Here!

rising costs

The era of rock-bottom construction costs may be on the way out thanks to rising demand and commodity prices, according to a number of building experts in the Triad. Read more here.

Dear Friend,

Spring means growth - both in the world around us and for your church. At JH Batten, we always want to help you move forward with the growth of your church and ministries.

We hope this edition of the eNews will help you do just that!

We are here to serve you, and to help you grow...

Faith in Action

Countryside

Capital campaigns - where churches raise building funds internally - are often a key component in the funding mix of a church building project. At JH Batten, we network with several nationally-recognized organizations which help churches in this process.

Faith in Action, developed by David Wood Ministries, successfully guides churches through capital campaign fund drives of any size completely debt-free. Whether you plan to build an entire complex, add an additional wing to an existing building, or double in size, Faith in Action will guide you through your church growth project.

Leaders, Like Seasons,

Change with the Times

Spring is in the air!

Days are getting longer, the temperatures are rising, and the early flowers are beginning to push up. It's all part of the natural cycle of creation that God intended.

Do you know that leaders, too, need to change with the "seasons" they encounter?

 leadership growth

A great example can be found in the Bible: Nehemiah and his leadership styles changed as he encountered different circumstances while undertaking the task of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem.

What about you? What "walls" are you facing that may require changes in your leadership styles? Click here to read more about what we can learn from Nehemiah.

At JH Batten, we're never satisfied with the status quo - we're always pushing for MORE.

I have a feeling your church is just like that, too.
